The Norwegian Congregational Church was organized April 27, 1890, by the Rev. John H. Meyer. In 1891 the first service was held in the new church building, on Willow Avenue near Fifth Street. Rev. Mr. Meyer resigned in August, 1892, and was succeeded by the Rev. Mr. A.C. Tychesen in August, 1892, to October, 1897; Rev. Andrew L. Anthony, May, 1900, Slav, 1902; Rev. Morten Olsen, May, 1902, December, 1904; Rev. Chas. E. Nelson, January 1, 1904, to present time. Church members about 50; Sunday School about 50.
